Nisus was founded by Tim Nightingale in 1996. The firm comprises a small team of in-house staff and a network of associates, all bringing different areas of expertise to the consultancy and all of whom are MBA or professionally qualified. Our associates enable Nisus to cover a wider area of the UK, from Scotland to the South West of England.
Tim Nightingale
Manic runner, lapsed skier and practical joker
Tim has an MBA from City University, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a full member of the Market Research Society. He is also a chartered marketer and a member of the Professional Services Marketing Group (PSMG). Tim is a regular conference and seminar speaker and has addressed the Law Society, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and PSMG annual conference.

Graham Archbold
Toastmaster, Ceroc dancer and Newcastle United fan
Graham specialises in the design and delivery of research projects. With Nisus since 2007, Graham has been involved in more than 30 client research projects for 18 different professional services firms. Most recently he has led client insight studies in legal, property and management consultancy, as well as a global online study. Graham undertook an MBA specialising in the diffusion of innovation before going on to be involved in new business start-ups for which he has received regional awards and scholarships. His main interest now is in perfecting the measurement of service delivery and client loyalty within professional services.

Karlee Rippey

Karlee works with Nisus as Project and Marketing Analysis Manager. She has a Bachelor of Management Studies with first class honours majoring in Marketing and International Management from the University of Waikato, New Zealand.

Loretta Taylor

Loretta holds the CIM Diploma and has previously worked in marketing roles within the insurance, legal and market research sectors where she gained experience in literature production, exhibition and seminar organisation, website development, media planning and buying and market research, within both consumer and business to business markets.
At Nisus Consulting she provides business support to the Nisus team assisting in developing market research questionnaires and the day-to-day management of research projects.

Amanda Sinclair

Amanda has almost 20 years' experience in the legal sector and is both a qualified lawyer and business psychologist. She has an Msc from the University of Westminster. Having spent the first decade of her career as a practising lawyer, she then decided to follow her true passion, which was to fully understand and help develop the human mind. An experienced behaviour change specialist, her particular expertise lies in helping professionals identify and develop the knowledge and behaviours the market demands.
She is also an experienced learning and development specialist, facilitator, coach, mentor, NLP practitioner and a regular conference and seminar speaker.

Tania simply loves professional services marketing and communications. With 15 years experience in business development, client care, branding and communications, she was latterly marketing director for two of Scotlands's premier law firms and a former Scottish Chair of PSMG before starting a family. Now as a consultant, she draws on her extensive marketing expertise to steer entrepreneurial SME professional service providers to improve their business performance.

Jill trained in NLP with Michael Breen and is now a licensed Business Master Practitioner of NLP and High Performance Coach.

With NatWest and RBS Group, Philippa gained wide-ranging experience of planning and managing key business processes and successfully leading large operational teams. A member of the International Coach Federation and a Certified Master Practitioner of NLP her focus is on enabling senior executives to develop management, leadership and business delivery skills.

Francesca is a business consultant, coach and trainer. Having originally trained as a concert pianist at the Royal College of Music, London she moved into Management Consultancy in 1990 and spent 15 years in business development client-facing roles in PwC, working on new client account development and marketing. In addition she is a licensed NLP business master practitioner and works regularly with Michael Breen on NLP business practitioner courses.

She has 25 years' experience in senior marketing and business development roles both within the professional services sector, and major corporate organisations including Head of Marketing at KPMG (SW office) and Director of Business Development at Clarke Willmott. She has also played an active role in professional services marketing organisations, such as the Professional Services Marketing Group (PSMG) and the PM Forum.

Based in Hong Kong, Robert has worked in Asia for over 15 years. During this time, Robert has consulted for dozens of professional services firms throughout Asia and elsewhere on their key strategy and marketing issues. Robert is the author of 'marketing Professional Services in Asia' (Lexis Nexis, 2009) and has written numerous articles for preeminent publications in Hong Kong, Australia and the UK.

Silvia teaches marketing and management at Fordham Law School in New York City. She earned her PhD at Nottingham Law School (UK) with Prof. Stephen Mayson (thesis: "Marketing legal services to medium-sized companies"). Prior to joining academia, Silvia worked as a marketing manager and consultant to law firms in Europe
Silvia has authored a textbook on legal marketing for WoltersKluwer/UTET and frequently lectures and publishes on international law firm marketing topics.
