Mark excels at telling stories with data. By bringing together skills in programming, visual design and data storytelling, he is well placed to optimise survey engagement.


Over the past fifteen years, Mark has programmed surveys for a wide range of industries, respondents and agencies, giving him extensive depth and breadth of experience in market research. His work has ranged from programming surveys for executives to analysing how to engage underserved and diverse communities with cultural institutions including TATE, MOMA and the Natural History Museum.


Mark interned at the Home Office while reading Crime, Deviance and Society at Staffordshire University, before securing a place on the British Market Research Bureau (BMRB) graduate scheme. Since then, he has studied numerous technologies on the job, including Excel, HTML, Javascript, Snap Surveys and Power BI.  


Between running after his two small boys, Mark loves climbing and bouldering, and travelling to the Algarve and Porto. He is currently attempting to master the language with the aid of his Portuguese wife.
